SCAR SYMMETRY Issues Post-Tour Update

May 4, 2007

Swedish metallers SCAR SYMMETRY have issued the following update:

"We're back home from the 'Metal For The Masses' North American tour, together with INTO ETERNITY, DARK TRANQUILITY and THE HAUNTED. It's been an amazing month and we've had nothing but the best of times. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took their time, showing up at the gigs, checking us out and buying our merch. Thank you all for your kind support! Special thanks to our new friends in INTO ETERNITY for sharing their backline with us and for being great guys; DARK TRANQUILITY for kick-ass times on the tourbus and for being the best of dudes; THE HAUNTED for being killer guys, both on and off stage!

"Up next is a gig in Norway, on the Karmoygeddon metal festival. Also, a couple of Swedish dates have been confirmed, set to take place at the end of the month. One in Avesta and one in Stockholm."

Called "masters of melody, complexity, and aggression" by Kerrang! magazine and praised by Metal Hammer for their "sickeningly good riffery," SCAR SYMMETRY is continuing to promote "Pitch Black Progress". The album climbed as high as #4 on the CMJ Loud Rock and #9 on FMQB charts. Their video for "The Illusionist" debuted on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" in July 2006.
